How this Angola visa checker works

This tool checks whether the tourism visa exemption may apply. It does not replace official advice and does not approve entry.

Tourism visa exemption

Angola Presidential Decree No. 189/23 created a tourism visa exemption for citizens of listed countries. The exemption is for tourism purposes only and is generally described as allowing up to 30 days per entry and up to 90 days per year.

Non-tourism travel

Business, events, meetings, work, study, residence, medical treatment, and other non-tourism purposes are not covered by the tourism exemption. Travelers should apply for the appropriate Angola visa/eVisa before travel.

Required border documents

  • Valid passport
  • Return or onward travel proof, when requested
  • Accommodation or host details, when requested
  • Required vaccination certificate, when applicable
  • Any documents requested by border authorities
